Portfolio Post #1 -Mind Map

In this image you will see a Mind Map that I created discussing the importance of studying History and Civics. I found this exercise quite useful because relevance is so key to student and engagement and investment in learning. It's always good to be equipped with reasons why before heading into a classroom. Also, I had initially hand-drawn this Mind Map (old school methods), but then I discovered the magic of mind map creation programs!
